BIOMEMBRANES,A NEW APPROACH TO THE DRUGS CARRIERS FOR THE SKIN TREATMENT

The skin plays an important role as barrier against external substances. The encapsulation of the active principles in lipidic vesicles (liposomes),improves its absorption and increases the efficiency of the treatment. KUORA contains multilamellar liposomes as large vesicles. These biomembranes generate vesicles of a wide range of sizes when they contact with the skin because of the shear effect caused in its application. Liposomes also help towards to the better effectiveness of the active principles due to its fitting to the pore size and texture of the different kind of skins.
